Daniel’s awful at decisions. He really is. His parents hoped his inability to decide was just a phase- capriciousness is not a good trait for a king to have. But it never passed. He tried to get better, but each decision was the cause of a lot of anxiety and lost time weighing the options. It may come from Daniel’s inability to sit still, or maybe his scatter-brained way of living. Daniel’s mother has even compared him to a young dog, affectionate and energetic. While he hates that comparison, it’s unfortunately true.

Noah is a no-nonsense kind of guy. In short, if it weren’t for his best friend, Leo, Noah would never relax or have even an ounce of fun. Noah doesn’t take much interest with girls; however, he is very sweet and will talk to anyone and everyone. As long as you respect that he just has to work sometimes, he’s okay with you.

Dalton isn’t shy; if you come up and talk to him, he won’t get embarrassed at all. He’ll even start the conversation if he wants to talk to you; however, he is very awkward. He doesn’t really know how to handle people, or talk to them, so he’s really nervous about becoming king someday. If he can barely communicate with people, how is he supposed to lead an entire country successfully? Mostly, he just sits alone and reads, book after books. Sometimes, he even takes a shot at writing, but he normally gives up midway because he isn’t confident in his writing skills.
Unlike most of the other residents of this small boarding school, he’s thankful for the arranged marriage—it means he doesn’t have to worry about anyone turning him down, or only dating him for his royal position.

Most would call him a player; even his best friend, Mitchell, shakes his head at the way he flirts and sleeps around. In short, Everett cannot and makes little attempt to stay faithful. And why would he? He’s being forced into the marriage, anyway, they may as well let him flirt. Even if he loves girls, he always puts his friends first—bros before hoes, right?
Besides his love life, Everett is more than eager to rule his country. If marrying this girl will get him into his throne faster, so be it. He’s okay with that. He just knows that, when he rules Wicerird, he has some major changing to do from his father’s ruling.

He’s not even the son of the king, he’s Rosemary’s cousin and his mother is her father’s sister. He doesn’t really understand why he’s the heir instead of Rosemary, especially since he thinks she’ll be a better ruler than he will. She cares. He doesn’t. He is very sweet and imaginative, he loves planning pranks, though he’s often too timid to carry them out. His best friend is Elizabeth, and while he guesses it’s a bit weird since she’s a girl, but they get along too well for him to ever want to change their friendship. He really doesn’t want to be engaged to someone, he’s only fifteen, he shouldn’t be getting married. But he guesses he has to, his uncle said so. And his mother always said they have to do what his uncle says.

He really tries to get to know the problems of his kingdom, something his father never really bothers to do. He’s actually terrified of this arranged marriage, because he doesn’t really know Caroline too well. What if she only sees his awkwardness and how he trips over himself? He’s convinced she won’t like him and nothing his friend, Cedric, tells him will change his mind.

He’s okay with eventually marrying, one day, when he meets someone he loves. But right now, he’s 18. He and half the other princes and princesses are too young to marry. He just wants to be a kid.

Cedric is the oldest and only son in his family, and thus the heir to the throne. He’s known since he was a young boy that he was destined to be king, and kings should go out and seize their destiny. As a result, Cedric is very aggressive and often comes off as unpleasant. He’s very idealistic and thinks that running a kingdom is far easier than it actually is. A lot of his personality comes from never being told he was wrong growing up, so he never learned that the world isn’t as perfect and simple as he’d like. However, he is very loyal, as he was always told a good king is loyal to his crown and country. And that’s all he wants to be, a good king someday. He’s bold and proud but ultimately, he’s trying to be a good man.

Sure, he’s mature and intelligent, but that’s covered up by his general melancholy attitude about life and how passive he is in terms of doing anything. He hates making decisions and dreads the day when he has to take his place on the throne. Under it all, he’s very kind-hearted and cares about his friends, but his deep apathy towards life makes that very difficult to show.
